School starts next week, so here are some deals for your last week of vacation:

The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau has a big collection of buy 3, get 1 free discounts, good for locals and tourists.

If you want to enjoy some local attractions on the cheap, check out their 443 attraction deals, which are good at Miami MetroZoo, Monkey Jungle and the Miami Seaquarium. With this promotion, you can buy three tickets to any of those attractions and get one free.

Don’t forget these other attraction deals:

* Buy a one-day general admission ticket to Jungle Island and come back as often as you want this summer for free.

* Moms Miami Summer Fun Pass, which is a buy two, get one free deal for area attractions.

* Buy a regular-price ticket to the Miami Seaquarium, Miami MetroZoo or Wannado City in Sunrise and for an additional $19.95 get unlimited admission to all three attractions through Aug. 30.

Yelp, the website that lets the public review everything from restaurants to veterinarians, is presenting its first Yelp Eats! Restaurant Week from Monday, May 20, through Sunday, July 26.

Participating restaurants are offering a special three-course prix fixe dinner menu for $25 (plus tax and tip). Request the Yelp Eats! special when you make your reservation.

Here’s a breakfast bargain:

Dunkin’ Donuts is offering egg and cheese Wake-Up Wraps for 99 cents each. That’s a national deal. In Miami-Dade and Broward, you can also get a small hot or iced latte for 99 cents. A small Coolata is $1.99.

McDonald’s in Miami-Dade and Broward has a weekday breakfast deal, too, plus free mochas on Mondays.

Wannado Seaquarium and zoo?

Three South Florida attractions are teaming up for a summer deal: Buy a regular-price ticket to the Miami Seaquarium, Miami MetroZoo or Wannado City in Sunrise and for an additional $19.95 get unlimited admission to all three attractions through Aug. 30.

Coldplay is celebrating its summer concert tour by giving away free live CDs, LeftRightLeftRightLeft, to all attendees as a “recession-busting mark of gratitude.”

You can also get the the get nine-song album as a free download from the band’s website. It will not be sold elsewhere, the band says.

Lobster on the cheap? A few deals

We’ve found a few Lobster Nights where you can get a discount on lobster dinners:

* Monday night is Lobster Feast Night at Calamari Restaurant, 3450 Main Highway, Coconut Grove. On Mondays starting June 22, the lobster feast is $19.95 after 5:30 p.m. for a 1-1/4 lb Maine Lobster on a bed of linguine in a light spicy tomato sauce. Free valet parking, too. * Lobster night is Tuesday at Tobacco Road, 626 S. Miami Ave. A dinner of a 1 1/4-pound Maine lobster with garlic mashed potatoes and slaw is $12.49. The deal requires buying a minimum of two drinks, and parking is $2.

Recessionista Wine Dinner

The American Institute of Wine & Food (AIWF) launches the second of its monthly summer series of economically priced wine and food menus, dubbed Recessionista Wine Dinners, at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, at Pacific Time, 35 NE 40th St., Miami.

The menu consists of four small plates paired with wine samples, created by chef/owner Jonathan Eismann, priced at $40 per person; $30 per person for AIWF members, including tax and gratuity. Ten percent of the proceeds will benefit AIWF culinary scholarships.

Here’s a deal, and you need to move quickly if you want Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy tickets at 50 percent off, because they’re selling fast.

Tickets to Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy next week at the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami are half price Tuesday, May 12, and Wednesday, May 13, with a special discount from TravelZoo.

The lowest-priced tickets are discounted from $25 to $12.50, with other tickets at discount prices $18.50 to $31. Regular price is $37 to $62. When I just checked, there were more choices for Wednesday than for Tuesday. Travelzoo says Wednesday is Kid’s Night, with interactive activities with the cast in the lobby 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.

We’d be lying if we said we knew anything at all about the Winter Music Conference other than that it involves lots of music and that it is next week, March 24-28, in Miami Beach.
