Great deals on culture in May with MOSAIC, Palm Beach

What is MOSAIC?
If it's May of 2024, it means a Month Of Shows, Art, Ideas & Culture in an extensive program to support creativity in the community, promoted by the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County.

The monthlong celebration of arts and culture features free and discounted admissions, with up to half off regular prices at participating venues, plus early discounts for SunFest. Offerings include something for everyone at participating organizations, ranging from the Cox Science Center and Aquarium to Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens, Boca Raton Museum of Art and more.

So, get ready to get your culture on. Throughout the county, there will be deals and discounts to a variety of performances, museums, galleries, gardens, festivals, events, family activities and more.

To take advantage of the savings opportunities, all you have to do is sign up for emails and register for offers you're interested in online. See mosaicpbc.com for a more complete list of upcoming events.

NOTE: Discounts and deals will only become active and available May 1-31, 2024; be sure to sign up today, so you don't miss out on the savings. 

Deals are offered at various venues including, but not limited to, the following: 

SunFest 2024

May 3-5, 2024, Friday-Sunday
SunFest, a three-day festival that takes place at the downtown West Palm Beach Waterfront, 100 S. Clematis St., and the area around Florida’s Intracoastal Waterway that extends along Flagler Drive.

  • Friday, May 3, from 5 to 11 p.m.
  • Saturday, May 4, from noon to 11 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 5, from noon to 10 p.m.  

General admission early-bird Tickets for SunFest 2024 are $50/children; $60/seniors; and $80/adults, plus processing fees, through April 24, 2024. After that, expect to pay higher prices. You can save up to $15 at mosaicpbc.com.

The Cultural Council is also expanding Palm Beach County Open Studios this year on Saturday & Sunday, May 18-19, 2024, from noon to 5 p.m. During these free half-day events, visitors will have the chance to visit Palm Beach County-based creative professionals where they work, witnessing the creative process and having the opportunity to purchase local art directly from the creator.

  • Sunfest (West Palm Beach, May 3-5): Save up to $15 on admission tickets. The festival lineup includes Nelly, Billy Idol, Yung Gravy, Elle King, Shaggy, and many more. Offer only available through mosaicpbc.com.
  • Norton Museum of Art (West Palm Beach, Open daily except Tuesdays): Buy one general admission, get one general admission of equal or lesser value free. General admission includes access to the museum’s augmented reality app, Art+, docent-led tours of the permanent collection, and the sculpture garden.

  • Boca Raton Museum of Art (Boca Raton, Open daily except Mondays and Tuesdays): Buy one general admission, get one of equal or lesser value free. Catch the exhibition “Smoke & Mirrors: Magical Thinking in Contemporary Art” before it disappears on May 12; and “Dorotha Grace Lemeh: Cycles”, featuring artwork created by a Palm Beach County creative professional, which ends on May 19, 2024. General admission includes a docent-led tour offered every day at 2 p.m.
