Free Weekly Family Sundays at ICA Miami

Spending Sundays with family is always a goal and ICA Miami in the Miami Design District makes it just a little easier, and a lot of fun with their weekly Family Sundays at ICA Miami. Reserved tickets are required.

Always free admission, ICA Miami hosts family programming at 11:30 a.m. each Sunday to provide a creative outlet with their one-hour workshops that feature storytelling, art-making or movement activities. ICA is located at 61 NE 41st Street, Miami, FL.

Once the workshop's done, hang around the space and enjoy the outdoor sculpture garden and current exhibitions. They've also got an amazing gift shop.

Here is the schedule for the upcoming Family Sunday events:

  • April 12. Artmaking with Instructor Asia Perrotti.
Inspired by “The Right to be Self-Published,” a component of ICA Miami's upcoming student showcase. Create your own mini-zines using stamps, stickers, stencils, collage materials, and more.
  • April 19. Storytelling with Ms. Krystal.
Ms. Krystal will lead an interactive story time session among artwork created by emerging artists from ICA Miami's youth programs. Through music, movement, and imaginative storytelling, families will connect with the themes of creativity, identity, and self-expression found in the next generation of emerging artists.
  • April 26. Music & Movement with Paloma Dueñas.
Enjoy the springtime in Miami with an energizing Music & Movement session in our orchid-adorned sculpture garden, led by Paloma Dueñas. Families will explore rhythm, motion and creative play through guided activities inspired by the shapes, textures, and forms found in contemporary sculpture. This joyful, all-ages experience invites participants to connect with art through the body, sound, and the surrounding natural environment.
