We have changed our submission form, and you can now submit events at any price point here to our community calendar. (This calendar says Miami-Dade, but it geolocates so it works for all three South Florida counties.) If you would like us to showcase your event, email teresa@southfloridaonthecheap.com for advertising options. You can make your event stand out with Featured calendar listings, custom advertorials, eblasts and more.
Are you offering a discount, putting on an event that costs less than $10, organizing a series of events or otherwise think your deal needs to be shared beyond the calendar? Email the details to news@southfloridaonthecheap.com.
You can list all types of events, both free and paid, on our community calendar here.
Some guidelines:
- All events must be open to the public.
- Events can only be submitted once, but you can correct or update your own events.
- South Florida on the Cheap reserves the right to delete any event it deems inappropriate or too promotional
- Submitted events will not appear immediately, but will first be edited by a real human being
- Events submitted at South Florida on the Cheap may also appear at Music in South Florida.
If your arts organization publishes a calendar, we may be able to pull events from your site and add them to our calendar. Email us at news@southfloridaonthecheap.com with a link to your calendar to ask about that option.
Events that will not be published on the Community Calendar:
- Details of an attraction, restaurants, museums or other venues open every day.
- Summer camps or semester-long classes.
- Restaurant meals.
- Sales at a business.
- Investment seminars.
- Free “introductory” events designed to sell products or services.
- Regular showings of movies. Special one-time showings are welcome.
