First Friday Art Walk: Explore Delray's Art Scene

Delray Beach offers a robust arts and entertainment vibe, including the popular self-guided First Friday Art Walk, and the "any time" Art Trail. Both offer public art displays, murals, installations and open galleries, but also a variety of free music and pop-up performances.

And don't forget to stop by the Cornell Art Museum and check out the exhibitions and live music from 6 to 9 p.m.

The Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority has curated this list of public and private art installations throughout the downtown area to allow residents and visitors to explore our beautiful city and find the hidden gems that you may otherwise miss.

You can stop for refreshments or visit the working artist studios in the downtown area to peruse, shop, learn about and appreciate the vibrant culture of the visual arts, with demonstrations, workshops and much more.

Exhibits change every few months, new exhibits added throughout the year at Cornell Art Museum, 51 N. Swinton Ave., Delray Beach.

During the First Friday Art Walk, not only can you enjoy live music and entertainment, but you can also meet some of the artists, ask them questions and even watch them work.

Delray Art Trail

If you miss out on the First Friday Art Walk, don't worry, you can still enjoy the art scene in Downtown Delray.

The Art Trail is not an organized event. It's a self-guided flexible tour that gives you the freedom to stroll throughout a compiled list of art assets, at your leisure on any day.

The Art Trail takes you from art on public spaces, featuring more than 130 public art installations and murals, to museums, art galleries and studios. So, take a moment to explore the and map out your next visit at delrayarttrail.com.

The downtown Delray Beach Arts District includes Artists Alley (corner of NE 3rd St. & "Artists Alley" between NE 3rd Ave & NE 4th Ave), Pineapple Grove (NE 2nd Avenue), Atlantic Avenue and West Atlantic Avenue.
