Free ‘Picasso’ art workshops at 5 libraries

artpaintbrushesArtist Edwin Villasmil will take his talents to five Miami-Dade library branches beginning Tuesday, July 9, to help children 12 and younger create their own artworks inspired by Spanish artist Pablo Picasso.

The classes are part of the library system’s Summer Reading Program and in commemoration of Viva Florida – Florida’s 500th anniversary.

Edwin Villasmil is an environmental educator from Venezuela whose work focuses on the history of South Florida and its unique environment.
