Sustainable Fashion: Learn EcoDenim via augmented reality

Mana Fashion Services in Wynwood will host this three-day event to help educate the public in a series of free workshops about the ins and outs of sustainable fashion.

What: EcoDenim Odyssey: An Immersive Journey Into Sustainable Fashion

When: Wednesday-Friday, April 24-26, 2024, from 4 to 7 p.m.

It doesn't matter if you are not part of the industry that includes designers, manufacturers, suppliers, buyers, stylists, educators, pattern-makers, or retailers. This is your chance to learn some tricks of the trade from the insiders.

The South Florida community of fashion enthusiasts is invited to engage in learning about current and future efforts of reaching a level of sustainable fashion. According to organizers:

The public can not only learn how to turn their old jeans or shoes into something new; but they can also participate in a clothing swap with Global Fashion Exchange, where they can trade their unwanted, great condition clothing for other great condition pieces.

A fashion exchange event from donated jeans, shoes and other clothing will allow guests to mix, mingle and take up to 5 pieces of clothing they no longer want, but are in great condition. Up to 5 tickets will be given to each guest, for each piece of clothing donated and tickets can be used to pull pieces from the Fashion Exchange.
