Miami-Dade County and the National Association of Counties offer a free discount card which they say offers savings averaging 24 percent of the retail price of prescription drugs. It can be used by those without prescription drug insurance, for drugs not covered by your insurance and on some pet medications. There are no restrictions regarding age, income or pre-existing conditions. Print a card here or pick one up at county facilities including libraries, commission offices and service centers.
