Miami Dade College’s The Civic Chorale of Greater Miami will present Voices for Veterans, Sunday, April 21, at 4 p.m., at the South Dade Cultural Arts Center, 10950 S.W. 211 Street, in Cutler Bay, 33189.
The concert will feature the Civic Chorale, under the artistic direction of Kenneth Boos, and the MDC Wind Symphony directed by Prof. Brian Neal.
The tribute to the men and women in uniform will include musical selections like Angels in Architecture by Ticheli, Testament of Freedom by Randall Thompson, Z. Randall Stroope’s Homeland, and E.E. Bagley’s National Emblem, among others.
Tickets are $10 for adults; seniors $8; students with ID $5, and children under 12 are free. The Voice for Veterans concert is free for veterans and those currently serving. Discounted or free tickets are not available on the website. These purchases should be made by phone or in person at the Box Office.
