Miami Goombay celebrates Bahamian culture

Bahamians have been in Miami, especially Coconut Grove, since 1873.

To celebrate, a free Miami Goombay Village Party will be held on May 27 at Kroma Gallery (3670 Grand Ave., Miami, 33133).

Enjoy:

  • music, art, crafts, culture
  • authentic Bahamian food,
  • the sounds of drums, whistles and cowbells
  • a parade in colorful costumes
  • gallery exhibits and giveaways
  • junkanoo, kids zone, face painting
