Get rid of your old car seat and score savings on a new seat, thanks to Target.
The retail giant, which has locations throughout Miami, hosts a popular car-seat, trade-in event for shoppers every year. This year, through April 17, trade in any car seat and get a 20 percent-off coupon toward a new car seat, car seat base, travel system or stroller. You may also use this discount on select baby home gear, including playards, high chairs, swings, rockers and bouncers.

Target will accept all types of car seats, including infant, convertible, car seat bases, harness or booster seats and car seats that are expired or damaged. Target takes all of these unwanted car seats and has them recycled by Waste Management. The program keeps old car seats out of the landfill – and also keeps people from giving away old car seats that may be less safe to other parents.
