Free boating safety classes

Monica Burguera Foundation_FinalThe Monica Burguera Foundation, the charity named in honor of Monica Burguera, a young woman killed in a boating accident during 2006 Columbus Day festivites, is hosting boating safety classes from now through December at various locations around Miami. The full-day program runs from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Classes are taught by the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary and are free due to the Foundation’s support.
