GoldStar is offering a discount to Miami City Ballet’s Program III on Friday, March 8 Saturday, March 9 at 8 p.m.; and Sunday, March 9 at 2 p.m. at the Adrienne Arsht Center, Ziff Ballet Opera House.
Full price tickets are $64 – $95. GoldStar discount price is $32.50 – $47.50, plus $6.50-$7.50 in service fees.
This program from the Miami City Ballet features a new work by Alexei Ratmansky. Hiss Symphonic Dances is a dramatic, fast-paced work set to a Rachmaninoff score.
Three George Balanchine favorites are also included in the evening’s program, La Valse, set to the music of Ravel; the Hans Christian Andersen-inspired The Steadfast Tin Soldier; and the short duet Tschaikovsky Pas de Deux, which uses a little-known excerpt from Swan Lake lost to the world for more than 70 years.
