Deering Estate $5 admission Labor Day weekend

The historic Deering Estate is offering $5 general admission for Labor Day Weekend, which is Sept 2-4, 2023. That's a big savings since admission is normally $15 for adults and $7 for children 4-14.

To keep up with latest news, sign up for the daily Miami on the Cheap newsletter. You can also follow us on Facebook.

The estate, at 16701 SW 72nd Ave., is offering visitors the chance to enjoy the open space, wildlife viewing, bay vistas and self guided-museum access. Advance tickets are suggested, because the event may sell out. You can buy advance tickets here. The Deering Estate will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; gates close at 4 p.m.

You can also get 20% off new and renewal memberships through Sept. 30, 2023, with promo code beaththeheat. Annual memberships are $50 per person, $75 per couple and $105 per family, with discounts for students, groups of four friends, seniors, teachers, first responders and military.

Other Deering Estate discounts
  • $2 off for Miami-Dade county employees with ID, Miami-Dade transit pass holders, active-duty military with ID, honorably discharged veterans and seniors 65 and older. These discounts don’t apply during special events.
  • Admission is always free for members.
  • Admission is free from Memorial Day to Labor Day as part of the Blue Star Museums program for active-duty or reserve military and up to five family members.
