Free Labor Day weekend festival in Fort Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale is featuring a Pre Labor Day Festival with live bands, vehicles on display, and shopping.

The festival in 2024 is 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday, September 1, at North Beach Restaurants and Shoppes, A1A and Oakland Park Boulevard, Northeast 32nd Street and Northeast 33rd Street from A1A to the Intracoastal Waterway.

Entry is free.

Entertainment  includes

  • 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. Southern Blood
  • 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. The Smokin' Aces
  • 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. Geneiva Allen band

There will be food and drink specials from about 15 restaurants and bars,f ood vendors, arts and crafts exhibits and stores open for shopping.

There will also be a car show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

You can find parking at these spots:

  • north side of Oakland Park Boulevard.
  • Northeast 34th Street.
  • Bridgeside Square garage, 3020 NE 32nd Avenue, Fort Lauderdale.

Parking fees are usually $4 an hour or $1.50 an hour for Fort Lauderdale residents registered with the Resident Parking Program..
