Celebrating Independence Day means picnics, outdoor concerts, beach parties, fireworks and even a rodeo! Here's a sample of what some municipalities are planning for 2023. You can use this list to find the best places to see fireworks in Palm Beach County, plus other Palm Beach Fourth of July celebrations.

Belle Glade

4th of July Extravaganza

Are you looking to make exciting plans for The Fourth? Consider heading out to Palm Beach County's only free rodeo that has now become a new annual tradition in the City of Belle Glade.

Who’s Ready to Rodeo? Start making your plans to attend, from 3 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4, 2023.

This is a completely FREE event with no cost of admission and is one of the most unique 4th of July events in all of Palm Beach County. The main attraction is a free (2 hour) patriotic, action-packed rodeo show that will have you at the edge of your seat. There will also be three diverse musical concerts, family fun, stilt walkers, food trucks, vendors, local live entertainment, and a fireworks spectacular.

Boca Raton

Tuesday, July 4, 2023
Countess de Hoernle Park: 5:30-9:30 p.m.

The City of Boca Raton's Recreation Services Department will host a Fabulous Fourth Celebration on Tuesday, July 4, at Countess de Hoernle Park at Spanish River Athletic Facility, 1000 NW Spanish River Blvd., starting at 5:30 p.m. with a spectacular fireworks show beginning at 9 p.m.

This FREE event will feature:

  • live music and a DJ
  • amusement rides
  • crafts & games for kids
  • video game trucks
  • interactive musical instruments
  • strolling entertainers
  • food trucks and vendors (for purchase)

Main stage music by Matthew Sabatella and the Rambling String Band playing traditional folk songs, fiddle tunes, old-time country, bluegrass, Appalachian music, ragtime, blues and more!

Remember to take your reusable water bottle! The City's mobile water unit will supply free filtered water at the event. Blankets & lawn chairs are permitted. Not permitted on site are pets, coolers, sparklers, fireworks, drones or alcohol.

A spectacular fireworks show begins at 9 p.m. Free parking will be available nearby at the Boca Raton Innovation Campus (BRiC). Complimentary shuttle service will begin at 5 p.m. through the end of the event. Note: Enter parking from Yamato Road or Spanish River Boulevard. Boynton Beach

July 4th event: Red, White & Blue with a waterfront view

Free: 6:30-9:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 4, 2023 – The City of Boynton Beach presents a free, family-friendly event at Intracoastal Park, 2240 N. Federal Highway, Boynton Beach. 561-742-6010.

Fireworks show will be synchronized to patriotic music; begins promptly at 9 p.m. Take your chairs and blankets to enjoy the waterfront view. Not permitted: Grilling, personal fireworks or pets.

Free shuttle service: Complimentary shuttles, with ADA accommodations, will begin running at 5 p.m. throughout the evening from the following locations:

At 9 p.m., the shuttles will stage on Federal Highway for the end of the event. They will then run until all attendees have left the event venue. For more details, visit this website.

Delray Beach

Delray Beach 4th of July Celebration

Where: East Atlantic Avenue and A1A, Delray Beach

When: July 4, 2023, 5-9:30 p.m.

The City of Delray Beach is excited to be hosting a FREE 4th of July Celebration again for 2023!  It’s been a family-friendly event for over 50 years and draws 80,000 people to our Village by the Sea. The event starts at 5 p.m., with the solemn 60-foot flag raising ceremony, with an honor guard and the singing of the National Anthem. 

The public is invited to join the ceremony. The celebration has something for everyone, including  contests, food trucks and vendors, children’s activities and games, non-stop entertainment, and more!

The spectacular Zambelli Fireworks will start promptly at 9 p.m.  The Celebration will take place on East Atlantic Avenue from the Intracoastal Bridge to A1A. For more details visit this website.


July 4th ‘Ignite the Night' — Independence Day Celebration

Join your neighbors and friends at the annual Independence Day Celebration “Ignite the Night,” the July 4th event at Samuel J. Ferreri Community Park from 5:30 to 10 p.m. It is a patriotic, family-friendly celebration featuring live music entertainment and a spectacular fireworks display.

The Town of Lantana Annual Independence Day Celebration to take place on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at Bicentennial Park, 321 E. Ocean Ave., from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. It's Free!

Live concert featuring: “Nikki Kid and the Collective.” Spectacular Fireworks Display at 9:05 p.m. Food & Craft Vendors, Stilt Walker, Family Games, Most Patriotic Baby Contest will be taking place through the event. Please take your chairs and blankets.

North Palm Beach

July 4th Celebration

Everyone is invited to celebrate the Fourth of July with the Village of North Palm Beach at the North Palm Beach Country Club, 951 US-1, North Palm Beach. Fireworks about 9 p.m.

Take lawn chairs and blankets and join your neighbors this year for a fantastic fireworks display. Call the Recreation Department at 561-841-3386 if you have questions.
If bad weather forces a cancellation of the show, a make-up show will be held on Wednesday, July 5, at 9 p.m. Check the Village Facebook page or the Village Twitter page for up-to-the-minute updates at show time. For more details, visit this website.

Fourth of July Celebration

If you’re looking for family-friendly 4th of July entertainment this year, look no further than the Village of Wellington!

The 4th on Flagler

The 4th on Flagler fireworks extravaganza returns to downtown West Palm Beach on Sunday, July 4, from 6 to 10 p.m. along Flagler Drive, between Banyan Boulevard and Fern Street.

Expect roving entertainment, live music, a DJ stage, food, drinks and more. Mayor Keith A. James will deliver remarks from the Palm Stage at 8:45 p.m., followed by a patriotic presentation and the announcement of the 2021 Palm Beach Health Network’s Hometown Heroes.

NewDay USA Stage (main stage on Flagler Drive and North Clematis Street): 13th Army Band (Jazz, Salsa, Marching, Rock Combo, Brass & Woodwind Quintet)

Meyer Amphitheatre: DJ Infiesta and Co. will keep the party going in the kids’ entertainment zone.

The kids’ entertainment zone will feature inflatable activities like bounce houses and games (wristbands will grant unlimited access for $5 per person). Additionally, volunteers will help kids and their families with various Independence Day crafts and make-and-take activities (no charge).

Fireworks will ignite at 9:09 p.m. over the Intracoastal Waterway. Supercar Week will host “Drive in 4th,” an all makes and models mini car show along Flagler Drive. 

Event organizers encourage physical distancing and will provide several hand-washing/sanitizing stations. Guests are welcome to bring their own chairs and blankets and find a spot on the lawn. The event is free, and parking is available in city garages.

Those who prefer to watch the show from the comfort of their home can tune in to a live broadcast. Viewers can watch remotely by tuning into WBPF’s live special broadcast 9-9:30 p.m.

For anyone who wants to start the celebration early, the “run to the fun” in the Bill Bone 5K, begins at Osprey Park at 6:30 p.m. and finishes adjacent to the north end of the 4th on Flagler site. For more details, visit this website.
