July Fourth fireworks, parades & events in South Florida

Patriotic festivities for July Fourth in South Florida include fireworks, parades and old-fashioned family fun. Many 4th of July events in Broward, Miami-Dade and greater Palm Beach are free. Many events feature live music and free concerts.

Most July 4 fireworks displays are July 4, 2023, but a few other events are on other days.  Fireworks is July 3  in Weston.

July 4 Fireworks and Events in Broward

Weston

Weston is offering family-friendly fun and fireworks 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. July 3 @ Weston Regional Park, 20200 Saddle Club Road, Weston, website. The event includes a fun zone with inflatable games, airbrush tattoos, balloon twisters, photo stations, and DJ entertainment. Entry is free. Parking is free.

Weston Hometown Parade is 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. July 4 ,  route is Town Center Boulevard and Three Village Road, east on Three Village Road to Bonaventure Boulevard, winding through Weston Town Center along Bell Tower Lane.

Sunrise

Parade & Family Fun Day  9 a.m. – 12 p.m. July 4, featuring  parade with floats west on Sunset Strip from Northwest 12th Street to the park @ 6600 Sunset Strip. At the park, festivities include free refreshments, fun zone for kids including an inflatable water slide & rock wall.  The park features a playground and splashpad.

Fun 6 p.m. – 10 p.m July 4 is  outdoors @ FLA Live Arena , One Panther Parkway, Sunrise. The event includes a fun zone for youngsters, food & drink vendors,  entertainment & fireworks. Free entry and free parking. Information, phone 954-747-4600

Plantation

Plantation July Fourth festivities include a parade at 9 a.m. Parade route is from Broward Boulevard & Northwest 46th Avenue, west on Broward Boulevard to Northwest 69th Avenue, to Northwest Fourth Street to Plantation city hall, 400 NW 73rd Ave., Plantation 33317.

Kids Zone, entertainment & fireworks. Events are Central Park ballfields, 600 Central Park Drive, Plantation

  • 6 p.m. Kids Zone at Plantation Central Park ballfields, 9151 NW 2nd St., Plantation
  • 7 p.m. live band Havoc 305
  • 9 p.m. fireworks

Entry is free. Food is available for purchase, or provide your own picnic. Bring your own blankets or lawn chairs. No pets please. Parking is limited. If possible walk, ride a bike or ride with someone else. For information, 954-452-2510

Pompano Beach

July Fourth Fireworks Extravaganza in Pompano Beach is 5:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. July 4 on the beach south of the pier, 222 N. Pompano Beach Boulevard. Entertainment includes Rubixx Band at 5:30 p.m playing hits from the 80s. Other entertainment includes Speaker Box Band at 7 p.m, and at 9 p.m. fireworks.  Bring your own seats or blankets.  Parking is at the end of Atlantic Boulevard and A1A. Street parking and the beach garage are available. Parking rates are usually $4 an hour or $20.

Fort Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale offers July Fourth fireworks and festivities including water slides, fireworks and live performers, including rapper and singer Flo Rida.

July Fourth festivities are at  Las Olas Oceanside Park, 3000 E. Las Olas Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, and on Fort Lauderdale Beach off Las Olas Boulevard.

Entry is free.

Parking fees are $25 flat rate at Las Olas Garage, 200 E. Las Olas Circle, Fort Lauderdale and Fort Lauderdale Beach Park, 700 Seabreeze Boulevard.

Street parking rates are $4 per hour for non-registered residents and $1.50 per hour for registered Fort Lauderdale residents. 

If you want to use Water Taxi from designated points in Fort Lauderdale,  Water Taxi is offering routes to Fourth of July event in Fort Lauderdale. Fees are $20 for adults and $10 for kids.

Star Spangled Spectacular includes entertainment at 5 p.m. and off-shore fireworks at 9 p.m.  on Hollywood Beach.

Belle Glade

4th of July Extravaganza

Who’s Ready to Rodeo? Start making your plans to attend, from 3 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. 

This is a completely FREE event with no cost of admission and is one of the most unique 4th of July events in all of Palm Beach County. The main attraction is a free (2 hour) patriotic, action-packed rodeo. There will also be three diverse musical concerts, family fun, stilt walkers, food trucks, vendors, local live entertainment, and a fireworks spectacular.

Boca Raton

Live entertainment, rides, food vendors, fireworks and fun for kids are included in festivities 5:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. July 4 at Spanish River Athletic Facility, 1000 NW Spanish River Boulevard, Boca Raton. No personal fireworks, alcohol or pets. Bring your own refillable water bottles, blankets & chairs.

Entertainment by Matthew Sabatella and the Rambling String Band playing  folk songs, fiddle music, bluegrass, ragtime, and others. Fireworks show begins at 9 p.m.

Free parking is offered at Boca Raton Innovation Campus (BRiC) on Broken Sound Boulevard. A free shuttle service runs 5:15 p.m. -10:15 p.m. Information is online

Boynton Beach

Red, White & Blue Festivities are 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. July 4 at Intracoastal Park, 2240 N. Federal Highway, Boynton Beach, information is online.

Delray Beach

Wellington

Pool party

West Palm Beach

Fourth on Flagler festivities, including fireworks, are 6 p.m. – 9:30 p.m., July 4 on the waterfront, 100 N. Clematis Street, West Palm Beach.

Fire on the Fourth

Fireworks and drones will once again light up the skies over Miami Beach. With a dedicated family zone, food trucks, live entertainment and a rock climbing wall, this outdoor festival marks the nation’s 247th birthday with the return of the city’s annual Fire on the Fourth celebration in North Beach. From 3-9 p.m. on 73 St. and Collins Ave., Miami Beach.

Family Fun and Games:
3 – 7:30 PM

Rock Climbing, Mega Obstacle Course, and Giant Soccer Dart Game. Imagination Playground with Jenga, Connect 4 and Cornhole.

Stage Entertainment:
5-9 PM 

Music performances take the stage with DJs as well as The Miami Beats led by Jacin Paul and his nine-piece band. Paul is a guitarist for Ricky Martin and Enrique Iglesias.

Roller Skating:
3-9 PM
In the Miami Beach Bandshell where you can bop to the beat of Bandshell DJ Allstars while showing off your best skate moves. Skate rentals available courtesy of Faena Arts.

Drone & Fireworks:
Start at 9 PM

City of Hialeah Celebrates Independence Day

This event has been the winner of multiple awards from the Florida Festivals & Events Association so you know it's gonna be great!  The entertainment lineup includes Lenier, Ricky Valido, and Marlon Fernandez. There will also be special performances by DJ YUS and DJ A10. Of course a 30-minute fireworks and laser display plus, food trucks selling all types of delicious food. 4-10 p.m. at Milander Park, 4800 Palm Ave., Hialeah.

Miami Symphony Orchestra at Peacock Park

The City of Miami and Coconut Grove Business Improvement District present a performance by Miami's Orchestra led by Maestro Eduardo Maturet. 7:30 p.m., 2820 McFarlane Rd., Coconut Grove. RSVP here.
