Reef mermaids on display in Hollywood

Sculptures that are designed for an artificial reef project in South Florida are on display on land.

1000 Mermaids is an eco-art installation intended to enhance habitat for sea life offshore. They also serve as an attraction for divers and tourists.

Meanwhile, elements of 1000 Mermaids are on display for free in Hollywood.  See them without snorkels or diving gear.

  • ArtsPark on Federal Highway and Hollywood Boulevard
  • City Hall Circle, 2600 Hollywood Boulevard
  • Driftwood community center, 3000 N. 69th Avenue, Hollywood
