Pumpkins & Palm Trees Fall Fest in Fort Lauderdale, free entry

In South Florida style, an oceanside park in Fort Lauderdale is perfect for a Pumpkins & Palm Trees Fall Festival.

Entry is free for the festival in 2025, which is 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday, October 25, with DJ entertainment, games and trick or treating.  Feel free to dress in your Halloween outfit, and pets too. 

The event includes:

  • art activities for kids, while supplies last
  • balloon artistry
  • Fall & Halloween stations for  photo ops including a pumpkin ferris wheel backdrop
  • pumpkin patch with pumpkin decorating supplies for purchase
  • 9:30 a.m. pie baking competition 
  • 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Trick or Treat Trail 
  • games and activities 
  • face painting and fairy hair braiding
  • vendors 

The carnival theme for the event includes plenty of free things to do and a few things that require a fee.

The events are at Las Olas Oceanside Park, often referred to as LOOP, 3000 E. Las Olas Blvd., Fort Lauderdale 33316. Fees apply for some of the activities. Parking in the beach area, including, Las Olas Beach parking garage, 200 SW 1st Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, is usually  $4 an hour.
