Trick or Treating 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. October 31 at participating stores. Wellington Green mall, 10300 Forest Hill Boulevard, Wellington 33414

Spookyville at  South Florida Fair, $10

Spookyville is described as offering old-fashioned Halloween fun with Trick or Treating for kids 10 and younger. It’s October 21-23and October 28-31, with an entry fee of $10. Entry Is free for ages 2 and younger.  Spookyville in West Palm offers Halloween fun for kids

 

Delray GreenMarket, free

Delray GreenMarket  9 a.m. to 1 p.m. October 29  is featuring a pumpkin display for photo ops, a free pumpkin painting art project, and professional pumpkin decorating demonstrations. Kids are welcome to Trick-or-Treat among participating vendors. The event is at Old School Square Park on Swinton Avenue and Atlantic Avenue. Information is online

Delray Kidsfest, free

Kidsfest, a parade and other Halloween fun is 11:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. October 29 and includes

  • Trick or Treating 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. with participating shops on Atlantic Avenue in the downtown district, from Interstate 95 to A1A, and on Northeast and Southeast Second Avenue and Northeast and Southeast Seventh Avenue
  • The parade is 1 p.m. October 29,  Atlantic Avenue and Northeast Fifth Avenue to Old School Square, 51 N. Swinton Ave., Delray Beach 33444
  • Kidsfest is 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. with vendors, art projects and entertainment at Old School Square, 51 N. Swinton Ave., Delray Beach 33444

Costume contest for pets October 29 at West Palm GreenMarket, which is open 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., 100 N. Clematis Street, West Palm.

“Haunted” house in Royal Palm Beach, $10

“Haunted” house attraction in Royal Palm Beach is 7 p.m. – 11 p.m. October 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, 29  for a fee of $10.  Commons Park is at 11600 Poinciana Boulevard, Royal Palm Beach 33411. Entry is $10 at the attraction.

Trunk or Treat

Halloween fun is 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. October 28 at Bicentennial Park, 190 E. 13th Street, Riviera Beach.  Information is online.

Jupiter

Halloween Spooktacular  is 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. October 28, with trick-or-treating, pumpkin decorating and other fun. 

Entry is free. Food trucks are on site. Bring a bag for treats.

Jupiter Community Center is at 200 Military Trail.

Rocky Horror Picture Show

7 p.m. &  9:30  p.m. October 28, $25

For ages 18 and older. Ticket information is online.

Mizner Park Cultural Arts Center, Boca Raton

Boynton Boo Bash

Trick or treat. Hayrides. Bounce house and other Halloween fun, with free entry, are 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. October 31 at Boynton Beach mall.

Rides, a petting zoo and Halloween fun are featured at Rock-N-Fall Festival in Royal Palm Beach, 1 p.m. – 9 p.m. October 8 and October 9, with free entry. Boynton Beach, free

Fall Festival is 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. October 15, offering  activities, pumpkin decorating, face painting, entertainment, food vendors, police and fire personnel, and free treats for kids.

It’s at Centennial Park, 120 E. Ocean Ave., Boynton Beach, east of City Hall.  Entry and parking are free. 

Gumbo Limbo Nature Center, Boca Raton, $10-$13

Halloween festivities at Gumbo Limbo are October 23, 1801 N. Ocean Boulevard, Boca Raton 33432, 561-544-8605; fee is $10 for kids who are residents of Boca Raton and for Gumbo Limbo members. For others, it’s $13. Entry is free for adults with kids participating in the event. Information is online.

Boca Pumpkin Patch Festival, about $30

October 15-16 Boca Pumpkin Patch Festival includes pumpkins for purchase, decorating pumpkins, rides, food vendors, scarecrow village and photo ops, at  Mizner Park Amphitheater, 590 Plaza Real, Boca Raton 33432, entry, which includes rides, is $29.43, including tax & fees. Entry is free for infants & toddlers.

Costumes & Cocktails

Event is for ages 21 and older 8 p.m. October 22 at South Florida Fair, 9067 Southern Boulevard, West Palm 33411. Includes costume contest, bar, food for purchase, DJ, and dancing. Entry fee is $35, purchase online  

West Palm Beach

A Halloween version of Clematis by Night is a free event 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. October 27 on The Great Lawn, 100 N. Clematis Street, West Palm Beach. The event includes “Trick or Truck” trick-or-treating, hayrides and face painting. Festivities include a costume contest.  Information is on the West Palm Beach website.

Palm Beach Gardens

Fall Festival is 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. October 22 at Gardens North County District Park, 5101 117th Court N., Palm Beach Gardens 33418. The event includes activities, entertainment and food vendors. Entry and parking are free.
