Pumpkin Patches in Broward

Pumpkins are popular in South Florida, for decorating, eating, carving and photo opportunities. We won't find them growing in farmers' fields in South Florida, but you can find pumpkin patches at festivals, in parking lots, and at farms.

If you're looking for the perfect place to pluck your pumpkins, Broward offers a variety of pumpkin patch venues and events.

Parkland

Parkland Pumpkin Patch is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. October 21-22 and 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. October 23-26, with a petting zoo, photo ops, face painting, and games. Pumpkins for purchase while supplies last. Parkland Equestrian Center is at 8350 Ranch Road, Parkland, 954-757-4107, entry is free.

Fort Lauderdale

Pumpkins and Palm Trees Fall Festival includes a pumpkin lane with pumpkins and pumpkin decorating kits for purchase. The pumpkin lane is featured October 21 and 22 at  Las Olas Oceanside Park,  3000 E. Las Olas Blvd., Fort Lauderdale 33316. Fees apply for some of the festival activities, and for parking in the beach area, including, Las Olas Beach parking garage, 200 SW 1st Ave, Fort Lauderdale. Parking is usually $3 or $4 an hour.

Dania Beach

Dania Fall Festival includes a pumpkin patch 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. October 27, with entertainment, truck or treat and other fun.  It's at Thomas Park, 100 NW Eighth Avenue, Dania Beach.

Davie

Marando Farms & Ranch, 5151 SW 64 Ave., Davie, 954-945-5744, offers a pumpkin patch, likely as of September 30, as supplies are available. The farm is open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with free entry. Parking is free.

The farm offers hayrides, train rides, petting zoo, pony rides, and horse rides on weekends for $5 each or $15 package.

Flamingo Road Nursery, Davie 

Pumpkins for sale are part of the fall features September 22 through November  5 at Flamingo Road Nursery, 954-476-7878,  1655, S. Flamingo Road, Davie.

Entry and parking is free for the pumpkin patch and scenic New England-y displays for photo opportunities. 

Entry for the Fall Festival $15 to $20 and includes a selection of foods and activities such as tractor-pulled hayrides and  pumpkin painting. Entry is free for ages 1 and younger.

Pembroke Pines

Pumpkin Patch and Fall Festival with a variety of activities is offered 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays in October, with entry fees of $12 to $15.50, including regular weekend entry fees into the regional park.

The venue is CB Smith Park, 900 N. Flamingo Road, Pembroke Pines 33028.

Davie

Community Church of Davie

Southwest Ranches

Northwest Broward

Parkridge Pumpkin Patch

Parkridge Churh, 600 Coral Ridge Drive, Coral Springs
October 6 – October 30 for pumpkin patch

3:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m Mondays – Fridays,  10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m Saturdays and noon to 7:30 p.m. Sundays

 

Previous events

Dania Beach

A pumpkin patch with free pumpkins is offered at Oktoberfest in Dania Beach,  6 p.m. to 9 p.m. October 14, a street fest with free entry. The festival is outside Dania Beach City Hall, 100 W. Dania Beach Boulevard. It  is pet-friendly, and free parking is available.

Deerfield Beach

Deerfield Fall Festival features a pumpkin patch, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. October 14, 2023, at Pioneer Park, 217 NE 5th Ave., Deerfield Beach.
