OUTSTAGE@PBD – June 2, 2023

Join Palm Beach Dramaworks for OUTSTAGE@PBD, a special event organized for the main-stage production for the LGBTQ community. Program takes place on a Friday evening, beginning at 7 p.m., June 2, for the production: Topdog/Underdog.

This Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Suzan-Lori Parks tells the story of African American brothers Lincoln and Booth, so named because their father thought it was funny. Spiritually wounded and barely scraping by, the brothers live in Booth's seedy boarding house room where they alternately support and disparage each other as they look back at their troubled past and look ahead to an uncertain future. It is a darkly comic tale of simmering sibling rivalry.

OutStage: Special ticket price includes a pre-show reception, the production, and a post-show reception to engage and inspire the LGBTQ+ community. Select “Outstage” at check-out. Tickets: $20, includes reception. Call the box office for tickets at 561-514-4042, ext. 2.

Location: Palm Beach Dramaworks, 201 Clematis St., West Palm Beach, FL 33401.
