Free Oktoberfest celebration with contests, Sept. 23, in Hialeah

Make no mistake, when it comes to drinking beer and yodeling contests, this Oktoberfest celebration promises rabble-rousing fun on Saturday, Sept. 23, starting at 3 p.m., in the Leah Arts District of Hialeah. Entry is free and there is no charge for having fun; food and beverage prices vary.

Aside from special beer tappings by Unbranded Brewing, festivities include the following:

  • Stein holding competition
  • Bratwurst eating contests
  • Yodeling challenge
  • Lederhosen competition
