Free: Ocean of Notes Concert for World Ocean Day, West Palm Beach

World Ocean Day is a day that is recognized annually in the month of June. The concept was originally proposed for June 8, in 1992, by Canada's International Centre for Ocean Development, and is now an internationally recognized series of events to bring attention to the value of marine life and ocean sustainability around the globe.

Locally, here's an art exhibit and concert to help amplify conservation efforts:

World Oceans Day Concert and Art Exhibit

  • When: Friday, June 6, 2025; art exhibit opens at 6 p.m., the concert is from 7 to 9:30 p.m.
  • Where: Riviera Beach Marina Village Event Center, 190 E. 13th St. Parking is free.
  • Register: Free on eventbrite.

The theme for 2025 is Sustainable Fishing Means More, a theme that underscores the importance of sustainable fishing practices in ensuring the health and abundance of marine resources for generations to come.
