Shows in 2024 include:

Scavenger hunt

Scavenger hunt for youngsters at Northwest Regional Library with tasty reward treats while supplies last. It's 10 a.m. – 2 p.m July 22 at Northwest Regional Library.

Bingo

Several branches offer Bingo with prizes, often books are the prizes.

Bubbles

Bubbles and entertainment are featured 2 p.m. August 6 at a branch library in Deerfield Beach, 837 E. Hillsboro Boulevard, Deerfield Beach 33441.

Indian Dance For Beginners

A performance and instruction are featured at Indian Dance for Beginners, 2 p.m. August 7 at West Regional Library, 954-765-1560, 8601 W. Broward Blvd., Plantation 33324. Register online.

Steel Pans

Steel pan performance by Steel Away is 1 p.m. Saturday, June 8, at Miramar branch library. 

The library, 954-357-8090, is at 2050 Civic Center Place.

Juggling

A juggling performance is featured 2 p.m. Saturday, June 8, at the Southwest Regional Library, 954-357-6580, 16835 Sheridan Street, Pembroke Pines 33331.  Entry and parking are free.

Juneteenth

Hollywood

South Florida Chamber Orchestra is featured in a free program focusing on Juneteenth and Fathers. The event is 1 p.m. Saturday, June 15 at the Hollywood branch library,

Lauderdale Lakes

Free Juneteenth presentation and saxophonist 11 a.m. Saturday, June 15, at Lauderdale Lakes branch library, 3580 W. Oakland Park Blvd., Lauderdale Lakes  33311. Register online.

Pirate Lady

Salty Sue performs her Pirate Lady show 11:30 a.m. Thursday, June 20, at Weston library, 4205 Bonaventure Boulevard, Weston 33332. Entry and parking are free.

Positively Africa

Postively Africa features songs in English and Swahili, information and demonstrations from Julius and Julia Sanna, who are from Africa. They demonstrate instruments, including

Djembe drums.  The programs are entertaining,  educational and interactive.  They include
