If you love musical theatre, you are in for a treat. “Stepping Out: The Wertheim Musical Theatre Ensemble Debut” will feature music alumni Cuban-American soprano Lauren Lopez and Dominican-American tenor Edgar Miguel Abréu. Accompanying the duo will be the Wertheim's inaugural class of musical theatre students. And this performance is free!

Lauren López is a Cuban-American actor, singer, dancer, VO/dubbing artist, and choreographer. She is proud to have received her Bachelor of Arts in Music (Classical Voice) from Florida International University.
Edgar Miguel Abréu is a musical theatre voice instructor at the University of Miami and New World School of the Arts Mr. Abréu holds a Master of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from Florida International University and his Bachelor in Music Degree in Vocal Performance from Florida Atlantic University.
