The Schmidt Boca Raton History Museum offers a chance to explore a fall-themed Free Fun Saturday celebrating the season with Thanksgiving history and hands-on creativity. Enjoy a free day of discovery and family fun at the museum!

The museum is not only responsible for its role in the preservation of local artifacts, it also hosts various temporary traveling exhibits throughout the year. For visitors with a keen eye, be on the lookout for Johnny Mizner's picture among the exhibits throughout the Museum. (Scroll down to see who "Johnny" really was.)

It is also the home of the Boca Raton Historical Society, whose mission is to collect, preserve, and present information and artifacts relevant to the past and evolving history of Boca Raton and to maintain a visible role in the education and the advocacy of historic preservation in the community.
