Have you ever heard a kora?
The public is invited to enjoy the music and history of the instrument, as Sean Gaskell performs songs on the kora – a 21-string West African harp.
The kora is traditionally played by oral historians known as Griots. Many songs preserve an 800-year history dating back to the start of the Mandinka Empire.
Event sponsored by the Friends of the Boca Raton Public Library.

- Cost: Free; drop-ins are welcome.
