The second Saturday of the month means free public art tours in the Miami Design District.
However, on Dec. 12, you can tour the art and do much more during the District's “Shop & Stroll” event. The event is set for both Dec. 12-13, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This special holiday edition of the event includes:
- Discounts at various stores throughout the Design District, with proceeds of sales benefiting the nonprofit Lotus House Women's Shelter.
- Take the public art tour on Saturday between 5 and 6 p.m. The guided tour takes you through various open-air shopping areas of the Design District, where a variety of sculptures and art pieces adorn the plazas.
- Live music on both days.
- Saturday from 1-3 p.m., enjoy the music of the Latin trio Salsasson in Palm Court and the Lemon City Trio in Paradise Plaza.
- Sunday from 1-3 p.m., the Latin duo Itawe and Fabi will perform in Palm Court and Electric Kif performs in Paradise Plaza.
While shopping and strolling, make sure to peruse the festive holiday window displays at stores throughout the district. Also on display, the colorful hanging umbrella-like installations throughout the alleyways between each of the open-air structures.
