Pumpkins and Palm Trees festival in Fort Lauderdale

In South Florida style, an oceanside park in Fort Lauderdale is perfect for a Pumpkins & Palm Trees Fall Festival.

Entry is free for the festival in 2025, which is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, October 25, with entertainment, pumpkin-themed photo opps, crafts, a market, games and trick or treating. Feel free to dress in your Halloween costume. 

For 2025, the festival is adding inflatable carnival games and activities, with a fee to play. Tickets start at $2 per game.

The event includes these free activities:

  • Fall/Halloween photo ops.
  • Kids’ Make-and-Take Craft Stations.
  • Balloon Artistry.
  • Trick or Treat Trail with the Broward Center Spotlights and Candy Giveaway.
  • Toddler Playland Maze
  • Balloon Blaster Race (sponsored by Free Ride) with the chance to win free scooters, plus prizes like sunglasses, balloons, bike bells, and sticker.

Here is the schedule:

  • The MKT: open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • 5th Annual Student Pie Baking Competition presented by FRLA Broward: 9:30 a.m.
  • Trick or Treat Trail with the Broward Center Spotlights: 10 a.m. to noon.
  • Carnival Festival Activities & Music by DJ David: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The events are at Las Olas Oceanside Park, often referred to as LOOP, 3000 E. Las Olas Blvd., Fort Lauderdale 33316. Fees apply for some of the activities. Parking in the beach area, including, Las Olas Beach parking garage, 200 SW 1st Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, is usually  $4 an hour.
