Marlins Play Ball Weekend for kids 14 and under, Hialeah

The Miami Marlins Foundation is inviting kids, age 14 and under, to register and have some fun throwing, catching and hitting the ball out of the park this weekend. Events provide boys and girls an opportunity to showcase their baseball and softball skills.

PLAY BALL Weekend

Events will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, with activities taking place all weekend encouraging young people to play ball and highlighting the Marlins youth baseball and softball programs.

Location: Marlins Youth Academy, Babcock Park, 651 E, 4th Ave., Hialeah

Activities Include

  • Pitch, Hit & Run Local Competition
  • Marlins RBI Takeover
  • Marlins Father's Day Weekend Celebration

Highlights include

  • Home Run Derby and Speed Pitch
  • Marlins player meet & greets and alumni autograph sessions
  • Free hot dogs and soft drinks for the first 250 fans
  • A one-of-a-kind AI bobblehead photo experience
  • Live music, mascots, interactive zones and more

Pitch, Hit & Run Local Competition

  • Time: 9 a.m. to noon; registration begins at 8 a.m.
  • Location: Babcock Park – Marlins Youth Academy

Marlins RBI Game Takeover

  • Time: noon to 2 p.m.
  • Location: Babcock Park – Marlins Youth Academy

Participants will compete in either 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, or 13-14 age divisions.
