Rock out in Parkland with free events at the park

The Parks and Recreation Department in Parkland offers occasional festivals, free films and other events.  Many events are free and open to the public. 

Events in 2026 include

Eats ‘N Beats

Homes Fur Dogs Pet Expo

Homes Fur Dogs Expo is 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at Barkland Dog Park, 9245 Ranch Road, Parkland. The event includes pet vendors, DJ entertainment and pet rescue organizations with dogs for adoption. If you'd like to donate items to a dog rescue organization, browse the website for information.

The park is at 10561 Trails End, Parkland 33076. Parking is free. 

Farmers Markets 

9 a.m. – 1 p.m. April 12 Parkland Farmers Market, 8350 Ranch Road, Parkland 33067 

9 a.m. – 1 p.m. April 26 Environmental Expo at Parkland Farmers Market, 8350 Ranch Road, Parkland 33067 

Other Farmers Markets and Vendor events 

Parkland Day festival

The festival is 4 p.m. – 9 p.m. March 7 with games, rides, and entertainment. Food vendors offer items for purchase.

The venue is Pine Trails Park, 10561 Trails End, Parkland 33076. Parking is free. 

Events include 

  • performances from local troupes and organizations 
  • 7 p.m. The Wildflowers 
  • business expo 

Parkland Day parade

The parade is 10 a.m. March 7 from Pine Island and Nob Hill Road south to Trails End, east on Trails End to Pine Trails Park

Family Fun Fest with rides, bands and games. Food vendors are at the 7event. 

  • 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, January 9 
  • 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, January 10 
  • 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, January 11 

Tickets purchased prior to the event are for Parkland residents. 

At the event, tickets are:

  • $40 per day for unlimited rides  
  • $80 for 3 days of unlimited rides 

The venue is the Equestrian Center, 8350 Ranch Road

Movies in the park

They films are at  Pine Trails Park, 10561 Trails End, Parkland 33076. Parking is free. 

If you'd like, bring  portable seats or blankets.
