Documentary: ‘Path of the Panther’ focuses on Florida ecosystem

“Path of the Panther” is an award-winning documentary that focuses on the struggling Florida panther, from world-renowned National Geographic photographer Carlton Ward, Jr. and activist Leonardo DiCaprio, who serves as executive producer. The award-winning film is being released in South Florida theaters on Friday, Feb. 24, and will play through April 30. Ticket prices vary: $9-$15. See for more information about the film.

A once-in-a-lifetime chance sighting triggers a deep dive into the uncharted world of the Florida panther. It’s a race against time to reveal the unseen natural history of an icon surviving in an ancient ecosystem that is being depleted by pollution and human encroachment.
