Free community sing-along of Handel’s ‘Messiah’

The Jubilate Vocal Ensemble and the Jubilate String Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Nelson Hall, will lead a community sing-along of Georg Friederich Händel’s Messiah at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, at the Ancient Spanish Monastery, 16711 W. Dixie Highway, North Miami, Florida.

All singers are welcome to participate, and call time is at 6 p.m. There will be a rehearsal at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 11, at Miami Union Academy, 12600 NW Fourth Ave., North Miami.

Also participating will be the Miami Messiah Choir and soloists Charmy Kirton, Denise Anderson, Nicole Bartholomew and Ruben Aponte.

Admission to the event is free.
