Vegetarian & vegan events in South Florida

If you’re into plant-based fare, several vegetarian festivals and vegan fairs are in South Florida.

Some events are free. Others require an entry fee. Once inside, vendors are selling burgers, wraps, sushi and other foods free of animal products.

Events for 2022 are in Miami-Dade, Broward and greater Palm Beach.

Vegan Block Party

October 15 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Vegan Block Party at Huizenga Plaza, 32 E. Las Olas Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, entry fee online is $13.10 with tax & fees, and free for ages 10 and younger,  purchase tickets online. Featuring vegan foods and other vendors, this free event is scheduled for several times throughout the year. Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

  • Nov. 13 at Meyer Ampitheater, 104 Datura Ave., West Palm Beach. Information is available online.
  • Dec. 18 Mizner Park Amphitheater, 590 Plaza Real, Boca Raton. Free entry and free parking. Information is available online. No pets allowed at the venue.

November 2-6 Seed Food & Wine Week. Various events in Miami-Dade focus on plant-based foods. A free event is November 5 in Coconut Grove
