Leash-up: Promenade Pet Parade on South Beach

The Promenade Pet Parade is a tail-wagging event for pet owners and their furry friends to enjoy together.

What: Promenade Pet Parade

• When: Saturday, March 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Where: Lummus Park and 14th Place, across from The Betsy Hotel

There will be treats, contests, vendors, service providers, free vaccinations and the Mobile Pet Adoption Van. So, leash-up and head on over to South Beach. Don't forget to register, so you and your canine companion can strut your stuff for the cameras at the Grand Finale Parade.

Eligibility for the grand prize drawing is awarded to winners of the parade's competition categories, include the following:

• Best Dressed
• Most Unique
• Best Tricks and Talents

The drawing will take place at the conclusion of the event, which is part of the Miami Beach Family Day series of events happening at multiple locations. For more details on this event, visit miamibeachpetparade.com.
