Jurassic VR Park dinosaur adventure discount

Dinosaurs are coming to Miami Seaquarium. Or at least they will be there when you enter virtual reality

Jurassic VR Park is bringing the tyrannosauruses, brontosauruses, velociraptors and triceratops, among other colossal creatures, to create a larger-than-life virtual reality trip to the prehistoric ages.

The 11,000-square-foot exhibit, presented by event organizer BisConcert partnering with Miami Production Group and Logistic Event Corp., starts a nationwide tour in Miami.

Jurassic VR Park at Miami Seaquarium will open September 9, 2023, and run through October 22, 2023.

“This is the most realistic VR experience of Jurassic ever created. It’s the first of its kind,” Michael Margolis, creator and developer of Jurassic VR Park, said in a press release. The exhibit took several years and many people to create.

The result: “One of the most realistic VR attractions ever created around prehistoric times,” said Margolis. “Sensors on the VR vest vibrate every time a dinosaur runs or roars throughout the one-hour experience.”

To start the experience, participants are outfitted with the necessary gear: a backpack, a special vest with sensors, and VR goggles. They are then greeted by a VR robot named “Evo” (short for “Evolution”), who guides them through the jungle, where they come face to face with lifelike dinosaurs in their natural environment.

Evo also shares the history of dinosaurs in the first stop, the Holographic Room. Explorers then enter the Jurassic VR Jungle, an ecosystem thriving with lush plants and trees, an active volcano, and sparkling waterfalls.

The adventure ends in with participants riding atop a dinosaur as they view the prehistoric world.

Regular price tickets are $49 for adults and teens 13 and older and $39 for kids ages 8 to 12, plus taxes and fees. Children must be at least 8 years old and be able to carry a backpack weighing eight pounds.
