Hispanic Heritage events at libraries  in 2023 include

Hollywood branch library

4:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15. Family crafts, with many crafts to choose from for all ages.

Fort Lauderdale main library

2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25. Free screening of the movie “Coco,” about family and the celebration of the Day of the Dead. Register here.

Alvin Sherman Library at Nova Southeastern University

5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26. Free screening of the documentary “Errol Flynn's Ghost: Hollywood in Havana,” with director Gaspar Gonzalez, about Cuba's love for classic Hollywood movies.

Weston branch library

3 p.m. September 30. A concert by lyrical soprano Alexandra Marie, “From Spain and Beyond,” featuring Latin songs in a musical journey from Spain through the Americas. The lyrical soprano will sing in both English and Spanish.

Weston branch library is at 4205 Bonaventure Blvd., Weston 33332

North Regional branch library

4:30 p.m. September 30. Gladius,  flamenco guitar player, will perform a concert. Register online.

North Regional branch is at 1100 Coconut Creek Boulevard, Coconut Creek.

Lauderhill Towne Center library

11 a.m. Saturday, September 30. Señorita Marci offers a bilingual educational show in Lauderhill. It's designed for younger kids and families.

The branch library is at 6399 W. Oakland Park Boulevard, Lauderhill 33313.
