Free and cheap kids’ Halloween events in Miami 2025

Trick or treating, costumes, candy and plenty of ghosts and goblins must mean we're talking about Halloween!

Halloween is on a Friday night this year, but there are still events before the spooky night of Oct. 31. We've rounded up as many fun Halloween events we could find. Events listed below are free unless otherwise noted.

Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025

Halloween Spook-Tacular. So much fun to be had with a haunted house, spooky kids zone, trick-or-treating, music, food vendors and a pumpkin decorating contest with prizes awarded for painted, mixed media and carved. 6-9 p.m., Losner Park, 104 N. Krome Ave. Free. Click here for details.

Barks & Boos. Bring your pup and enjoy sweet treats, retail experiences and spooky activities. 1-4 p.m., Brickell City Centre, 701 S. Miami Ave., Garden Level, Miami. Free. Click here for info.

Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025

Howl-O-Ween at the Wolf. This multigenerational program features making monster-themed rain sticks with local artist Marie Louise Franco Luque, interactive story time, temporary tattoos and a haunted “snack exchange” where you design your own ghostly look for The Wolfsonian to exchange for a cookie. Join a round of bingo with prizes and explore spooky wonders in the Library Open House. 1-4 p.m., Wolfsonian-FIU, 1001 Washington Ave., Miami Beach. Free. Click here for details.

Friday, Oct. 24, 2025

City of North Miami's Annual Haunted Trails. Costume contest, trunk or treat, scary hayrides along the Haunted Trail, rides, a photo booth and haunted trail. 7-10 p.m. at Enchanted Forest Elaine Gordon Park, 1725 NE 135 St., North Miami. Tickets $7+ tax. Click here for info.

Track or Treat in Pinecrest. Trick-or-treating and spooky surprises in a safe and friendly environment followed by an  outdoor movie in the park starting at 7:30 pm. The Parks and Recreation Department and local businesses will hand out treats for everyone. There will also be bounce houses, photo opportunities, music, balloon artists, and more. Children must be accompanied by an adult and bring their Halloween bag for collecting candy. Overflow parking is available at Suniland Park.  Shuttle service is provided between Suniland Park and Evelyn Greer Park. 5-7 p.m., Evelyn Greer Park, 8200 SW 124 St., Pinecrest. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025

Kiddo-Ween Festival at Bayside Marketplace. Presented by Kiddos Magazine, the event includes Halloween-themed family fun zone, trick or treating, pumpkin patch, bounce house, pumpkin decorating, face painting and giveaways and character experiences. Admission is free, but rides and other activities require a wristband purchase. 2-7 p.m., 401 Biscayne Blvd., Miami. Link to RSVP.

Howl-o-ween Dog Costume Contest. Dress the pup up in their best costume contest with seasonal cocktails and items from local vendors for sale, D.O.G. Wynwood will provide popsicles and pup cups. 4-7 p.m. at Arlo Wynwood, Higher Ground, 2217 NW Miami Ct., Miami. Event is free and costume contest entry is $5. Click here for info.

Monster Mash Bash. Come in costume and walk through a haunted house, take part in a costume contest for a chance to win prizes and enjoy rides, bounce houses, arts & crafts, live music and free candy. 5-9 p.m., North Miami Beach City Hall, 17011 NE 19 Ave. Free but haunted house is $2 per person. Trick-or-Treat on the Mile. Family-friendly event spanning the length of Miracle Mile in Coral Gables with trick or treating from businesses along the street with purple balloons outside. There will also be face painting, balloon artists, performances at Actors' Playhouse, caricaturist, magic show and Spooky Children's Story Hour one block over at Books & Books on Aragon Ave. 3-6 p.m. from Douglas Rd. (SW 37 Ave.) to LeJeune Rd. (SW 42 Ave.). Click here to view the full schedule.

Free Halloween Goodie Bags. Stop by the information booth at Dolphin Mall and pick up a goodie bag filled with candy and chocolate through Oct. 31. You also get a kids meal coupon and shopping passport discount book. Click here for info.

Halloween Festival at Continental Park. Family-friendly event with music, bounce houses, rock climbing, a costume contest and food trucks. 6:30 p.m., Continental Park, 10000 SW 82 Ave., Miami. Click here for info.

Friday, Oct. 31, 2025 – Halloween Night!

Halloween on Lincoln Road. The yearly block party in the pedestrian mall kicks off from 5-7 p.m. with a kids trick or treating along the street followed by an adult block party with ghoulish fun from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Alton Rd. to Washington Ave. along Lincoln Rd. on Miami Beach. Trick or Treat at BCC. Come in costume and enjoy trick or treating for candy and other treats. 5-7 p.m., Brickell City Centre, 701 S. Miami Ave., Level 2, East Bridge. Miami. Click here for info.

Alice in WonderGrove: A Halloween Adventure. Come in costume and enjoy trick or treating through Downtown Coconut Grove,  a costume contest, a K-Pop performance by 4Eva Dance Group and a performance of “Alice in WonderGrove” by playwright Brandon Urrutia. 6-9 p.m., Downtown Coconut Grove. Halloween in Shenandoah. Family-friendly fun at Shenandoah Park with trunk or treat, photo opportunities and other spooky fun. 6:30-8:30 p.m., 1800 SW 21 Ave., Miami. Free. Click here to RSVP.

HalloWYN 2025 – Wynwood's Official Halloween Block Party. Dress in costume and come listen to live DJ's all night long plus, your first drink is free. 7 p.m. to 3 a.m., Wynwood Marketplace, 2250 NW 2 Ave., Miami. Free. Click here to RSVP.

Halloween Spooktacular. Enjoy an afternoon fun trick or treating throughout the mall at select retailers, enter a costume contest and dance to beats by the DJ. 5-7 p.m., Miami International Mall, 1455 NW 107 Ave., Doral.

City of Hialeah Trunk or Treat. Family friendly Halloween fun with free candy for kids, live music, a kids' zone, food for from food trucks and a trunk or treat with decorated cars receiving candy to pass out at the event. Cars must be registered beforehand and arrive by 5 p.m. Event begins at 6 p.m. at Milander Park, 4700 Palm Ave., Hialeah. Click here for info.
