Some of Miami’s top ceramic artists will be at work on the pottery wheel, and you can join in for free. Inspired by Roberto Lugo’s Street Shrines exhibition and his dazzling array of ceramic work, The Wolfsonian is hosting a potter-in-residence from the Ceramic League of Miami in its street-side Bridge Tender House (Josephine Baker Pavilion) each Friday evening in February.
Pass by along Washington Avenue for a close-up look at throwing and get a chance to try your hand at the wheel — plus, stop in the Design Store to enjoy half-priced drink specials while you browse a pop-up selection of ceramics from resident potters.

City garages are located between Washington and Pennsylvania Avenues on 12th Street (connected to the Miami Beach Police Department), Collins Avenue at 7th and 13th Streets, and Drexel Avenue at 12th Street. An open lot is across the street on Washington Avenue at 10th Street next to the Washington Park Hotel, and metered street parking is available along Washington Avenue.
