Ocean protection advocates are participating in a free oceanside event in Hollywood for World Oceans Day.
The World Oceans Day event in Broward is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 8, and entry is free. Parking fees apply.
The event includes live music, environmental education, and exhibits.
The venue is Marine Environmental Education facility, a partnership of Broward Parks and Recreation and Nova Southeastern University. The resident rescued sea turtle at the facility is especially popular.
