Free Moon Party with telescopes at Broward Library

If you'd like to look at the sky using a telescope, volunteers with South Florida Amateur Astronomers Association are setting up equipment. You might want to glance at the moon via a virtual reality station.

They're featured at Broward Library Moon Party in 2023, which is 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. October 18, and it's free.

The party is at Broward Main Library is at 100 S. Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale, 954-357-7444

The event is for participants of all ages. It features STEAM activities which include science, technology, engineering, art and math. Registration is requested.

Fort Lauderdale parking fees are usually about $3 an hour.
