Free Haiti Flag Day event in Broward

For a Haiti Flag Day event, African-American branch of Broward Library in Fort Lauderdale is featuring a program focusing on the the nation and its heritage, freedom and independence.

In 2023, the event is 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. May  18 at African American Research Library , 2650 Sistrunk Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale. 

Entry is free and registration is recommended.

Food & Entertainment event with a fee 

Broward Library offers occasional events for adults that focus on the food and entertainment of a particular region.

Destination Freedom in 2023 is 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. May 19 featuring food and entertainment representing Haiti and America. The events are for ages 21 and older.

Tickets are $15 prior to the event and $20 at the event. Parking and refreshments are included.  Register online.

The event is at  African American Research Library ,  2650 Sistrunk Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale.
