Free: Black Joy series, Lake Worth & West Palm Beach, Feb. 18 & 21

On Wednesday, Feb. 18 and Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026, the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County will present The Black Joy Series, a multi-part experience designed to inform, immerse, and celebrate our community.

Tickets are free with RSVP but are going fast.

When: Wednesday, Feb. 18, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Where: Cultural Council for Palm Beach County, 601 Lake Ave., Lake Worth Beach

This promises to be a  powerful conversation celebrating Black Joy through resilience, resistance, and reclamation — rooted in Palm Beach history, culture and tradition.

Celebrate the vibes, culture, and pure happiness of Black Joy by connecting and learning to live in full color!

Whether you're looking to connect, dance, laugh, or just soak it all in, the Black Joy Experience has got you covered. 

  • When: Saturday, Feb. 21, from 4 to 9 p.m. (doors open at 3:30 p.m.)
  • Where: Palm Beach Lakes Community High School, 3505 Shiloh Drive, West Palm Beach
  • Admission is free.

Features special guests, dancing, drums, music and traditional African American dishes along with Caribbean delicacy vendors (prices vary).
