Palm Beach VegFest in Boca

If you’re a fan of scrumptious plant-based fare, or are eager to incorporate the earth-friendly trend into your epicurean routine, vegetarian festivals and vegan fairs throughout South Florida offer an enticing option for the whole family. Some events are free.

Palm Beach County events

Palm Beach VegFest

Featuring vegan foods and other vendors, this free event is scheduled for several times throughout the year. Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

  • Nov. 13 at Meyer Ampitheater, 104 Datura Ave., West Palm Beach. Information is available online.
  • Dec. 18 Mizner Park Amphitheater, 590 Plaza Real, Boca Raton. Free entry and free parking. Information is available online. No pets allowed at the venue.

Broward County events

 

Vegan BBQ Party

Event is 4 p.m. – 10 p.m. July 2, featuring vegan foods and drinks, vendors, art, entertainment and family fun zone.  Entry is $13.10 for adults and free for kids age 10 and younger. Venue: Huizenga Plaza, 32 E. Las Olas Blvd., Fort Lauderdale. Tickets are available online, or at the event if not sold out.

Vegan Block Party

October 15 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Vegan Block Party, Huizenga Plaza, 32 E. Las Olas Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, entry is $13.11 with tax & fees, and free for ages 10 and younger,  purchase tickets online

December 10 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Vegan Block Party, Esplanade Park, 400 SW Second Street, Fort Lauderdale, entry fee online is $13.11 with tax & fees, and free for ages 10 and younger, purchase tickets online or at event if lefto

Miami-Dade County events 

Seed Food & Wine Week

This event is tentatively set for November 2022 and typically offers festivities at venues throughout Miami. Tickets can be pricey, but there usually are some free events. Information is available online.
