For fans of ice skating, Las Olas Oceanside Park in Fort Lauderdale is featuring a synthetic ice rink amid the palm trees as part of its Wonderland holiday events and attractions.
The Wonderland events are November 13, 2023, through January 1, 2024, with many for free. .
Fees apply for The Rink, which is touted as offering a smooth surface similar to regular ice rinks. Skates are included in the fee. Users need to provide a waiver. The rink is open until January 1, including holidays.

Reservations and tickets for the skating rink are online.
- $20 for ages 18 and older
- ages 13 – 17, $18
- ages 6 – 12, $15
On top of those prices is a $2.50 extra fee.
- Theme skate events for ages 21 and older are $25 and $30, events with DJ entertainment are 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays.
