West Palm Beach
WPB Firefighters to host 5th annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb
Join West Palm Beach Firefighters as they pay tribute to the lives lost by climbing 110 stories for the 5th annual 911 Memorial Stair Climb. The climb will take place at 515 N. Flagler Driveon Sunday, Sept. 10 at 8 a.m. Click the video below to see what happened at last year's memorial event.
Boynton Beach
Never Forget: The City of Boynton Beach will observe the 22nd Anniversary of September 11.
The Boynton Beach Fire Rescue and Police departments will be participating in the ceremony, alongside members of the City Commission and the Boynton Beach Veterans Task Force. The public is invited to attend:
The ceremony will honor the 2,983 men, women and children who lost their lives in the attacks at the World Trade Center site, the Pentagon and aboard Flight 93. A moment of silence will take place at 8:46 a.m. when the north tower of the World Trade Center collapsed.
That evening, the City’s Water Tower will be lit red, white and blue in remembrance of 9/11.
