Orchestra Miami’s 15th anniversary season will end with a phenomenal evening of jazz featuring Miami’s first lady of jazz, Wendy Pedersen, performing new arrangements of standards and ballads with James Gasior on the piano and Orchestra Miami. With her high-energy intensity, powerhouse range and deep musicality, Wendy delivers an unforgettable performance that will leave you wanting more!

A winner of the Southern Bell/Pace “Jazz Artist of the Year” award and named by Miami New Times as “Best Vocalist,” Wendy will perform an evening of classics, standards and new favorites in new arrangements by Mike Lewis, accompanied by Orchestra Miami conducted by Elaine Rinaldi. Also featured will be Wendy’s long-time collaborator and pianist, James Gasior.

The concert will be at 8 p.m. Saturday, May 21, at Miami’s Scottish Rite Temple, 471 NW 3rd Street, Miami, 33128. Tickets start at just $5 for students/kids 17 and under. Adult tickets are $20 to $35.

After the concert, the audience is invited to help Orchestra Miami celebrate its “Quince” with a Quinceañera party!
