HistoryMiami museum hosts a free Family Fun Day the second Saturday of every month, with free admission for all. The free admission is all day, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with activities taking place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration is required to participate. You can register online.
The theme rotates monthly, usually around either current exhibitions or perhaps a national celebration.

Celebrate the culture of Trinidad & Tobago with performances on tassa drums and steel pans played by artist-in-residence Romeo Ragbir and other musicians.
Oct. 12: Afro-Caribbean influences
Explore the current exhibition SANCTUARY: Our Sacred Place and participate in themed craft activities plus try playing an instrument in the percussion corner.
