Book and Writing Festival in Wellington

Read It Write It Book and Writing Festival is a free event in Wellington for kids, parents, writers, publishers and others.

The event in 2023 is 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. February 25 including poetry, panels, workshops, fun for kids and other activities. It's at Mall at Wellington Green, 561-227-6900, 10300 W. Forest Hill Boulevard, Wellington.

Read It Write It is a family-friendly book festival that is free to attend. It’s an all day event that will include local authors of all ages selling their books, writing workshops/panels, poetry readings and a literary costume contest. Writing panels will feature participating authors talking about the writing process, writing certain genres and all things writing related. The poetry reading is open to new and experienced poets. The literary character costume contest will encourage people to dress as their favorite character from their favorite book.
